NOVEMBER 19TH 2012
I was on bed rest for starting 34 weeks for preterm labor! I was dilated to 3.5 and 100%effaced for the entire time! I started have problems with my high blood pressure at 35/36 weeks and at 37 weeks i was induced BP 150s/100s her stomach was also measuring 3 weeks behind my placenta was starting to fail.
5 PM- Arrived at L&D started on IV with saline drip & Pitocin
Pitocin was uped every hour.
8 PM- The doctor broke my water! I was now 4.5 Contractions hit HARD 20 minutes later
8:30 PM- Contractions were 2 minutes apart and were so strong i could not breath, had to focus on Adeline's heart rate it started dropping with each contraction(60s/70s) and not coming up very fast. I was scared smu*fless. I was placed on oxygen and I asked if there was a waiting line for an epidural lol I was also given an injection to "take the edge" off of the contractions I had a horrible reaction and felt like throwing up and was horribly dizzy.
9 PM-I was also checked and i was 7.5(really close to an
and i received the epidural within minutes!
9:45 PM- I felt a LOT of pressure. OH hello baby! I was 10cm 2+ station! Time to call my doctor! LOL
10:15 my doctor come in and starts to examine me.
10:25 Start to push! Adelien's HR continued to drop and she was placed on internal monitors doctor informed me at 10:50 she NEEDED to come out if not vacuum would be used.
10:55 PM- Adeline was born!
Cord was wrapped around her neck, across her stomach and around her leg. She swallowed a lot of fluid and they had to pump her lungs/stomach twice. But she is happy and healthy!

The most amazing moment of my life was when i herd her first cry! <3 It took 3long years to get pregnant and every single minute was worth her. <3
