Quoting H&Cai:" Basketball and Hockey!"

Peyton Manning, QB for the Denver Broncos.

I know of a male Peyton personally, as well.

Peyton manning. The football player. My 8 year old nephew. My bf 2 year old son. Just because you have never met a male peyton doesn't mean it's not a masculine name.

Quoting →Ebahϖ:" i dont get why those are masculine"

Etymology and anthroponymy determine a names gender. Those are masculine.

OP_ your daughter deserves a name fit for a girl. "Masculine" girls names are just that, MASCULINE - it's not fair and it's a HUGE trend right now thats going to look stupid in 10 years. Your daughter deserves a name that will grow with her and not look dated and stuck by the time she's an adult. She deserves a name that show's feminine strength and class - not something meant for a male.

I'm not really into the whole masculine girl name thing but I think I have one... *prepares for smurf storm.*

Adrian. For short it could be Adi or something... I know it's traditionally used on boys, but it always sounded like a girly boy name to me... a little to pretty sounding, but that's just my personal opinion. Another way to spell it would be Adrienne, which is feminine and also, a legit girl name (from my quick google search research, lol.)

And before you say there are no girl Adriennes, there's Adrienne Nesser, Billie Joe Armstrong's wife, Green Day's front man.

This is for me. I want to change my name and I don't like girlie names. I wanted a unisex name. I guess I should have said unisex instead of masculine
