Lol. I don't think it's a bad sign. I think lots of men are like your husband.
The men in my life aren't like that but I know other men who are great but not likely to cry.

My DH is a seriously sensitive soul. I think he cries more than I do. He doesn't around everyone, just me. I'm glad he feels comfortable enough to share that with me.

I've only seen my husband cry a few times in our relationship: when our kids were born, when a friend's kid was hit by a policeman and killed, when his mom died, when I was going to leave him and this shooting. Every time something is on tv about it, he cries.
I don't think it's weird as in unusual, but I do think it's sad. Men are taught early on to "suck it up". They're taught that it's weak to cry "like a bitch". I think it's time for that to change. I think men should be able to get their emotions out like we're expected to do. I don't think it's healthy for them to keep it bottled up all the time.

I agree, but my husband wasn't raised that way, I've seen his brothers and dad cry and I know he has a very emotional mom. (Smurf I watched his dad cry over not being able to eat chicken wings because of the heartburn he gets) I would expect him to be very emotional, and he is but when something tragic happens he gets very angry and shuts down. We were supposed to have dinner on Friday but it ended up being take out because he was just too upset about the news.

Yet no tears.

Hmm. Maybe he waits until he's alone to cry??: Or he's just not a crier...

My husband never ever cries. I've seen him cry exactly two times in the nearly 17 years we've been together. Once when we were still kids and I was going to break up with him and the other time was about 3 years after we got married and we were having troubles with our marriage and he thought that I was going to leave him. He definitely has emotional reactions to things but never cries.

Ive only seen DH cry twice. Once the night our daughter came home from the hospital after she was born... and once 2 weeks ago when I got home from my D&C. He was so sad about the miscarriage. It broke my heart.

Pat turns to anger too.

And, to top it off, both of our husbands have the same hair, and skin color.

In the almost 3 years we've been together I've only seen DH cry once. I t was when our first daughter was born and he only shed a couple tears for like, a minute.

We've been together 6 1/2 years and married for 5 and I've seen my Husband cry a number of times. Mostly mourning his Father as well as a few other "random" occasions. He is a very emotional person and I don't mind that at all. His tears are short lived though. He doesn't carry it out for minutes on end.

Mine's cried three times that I can think of the whole time we've known one another-so, I dunno-8ish years?

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Some people just aren't criers. I'm not, either.

And men crying isn't attractive to me, so I guess it works out.

Same with my DH...it's like a few seconds and then he moves on.
