Birthing classes

I'll admit I am completely terrified at the thought of giving birth. I wanted to take a birthing class but with my schedual and DH's I don't think I'll be able to. I was hoping to find some online but can't seem to. Does anyone know of any online classes? Free would be nice, but as long as they aren't too expensive it should be okay.

Gonna be honest, I've never heard of online birthing classes..

nothing can truly prepare you for birth unless your a 2nd+ timer. IMO birth classes are a waste of time.

1)contractions will hurt... a lot.
2)When you get to 10 cm and 100% effaced you start pushing. Same position you do for a pap smear.
3) when the head crowns it will burn...push through it. Pushing does make it feel better.
4) stop pushing when the head comes out so the ob/midwife can suction the nose and mouth
5)push again when they tell you to get the rest of the body out
6) some ppl have to push a time or two to get the placenta out some don't just listen to what the dr tells you.

to help with pain you can do guided imagery, meditation, there is a whole list of things I don't think any of them worked. And when you are pushing your head will be tucked to your chin take a deep breath and hold it while you do a continuous push for about 10 seconds
