Lining cookie tins?

posted 18th Dec
I made fudge and apparently I need to make chocolate chip cookies   for DH's shop as a Christmas. I bought a bunch of little individual cookie tins to put them in. Should I line the tins with something or just wash and put the treats in?

Joanne Fabrics has round liners for tins that are wax paper with cute holiday designs on them. I picked them up the other day, and they were already 60% off. They look nice and were cheap.
