I don't want to see my baby hospitalized again

My 2 year old son was hospitalized for approx. 3 weeks over the summer because of an infection in his bloodstream. His fever had been so high that he was not awake for a few days, nearly a week. I literally thought I was losing him.
He's sick a lot, maybe because he just started daycare this year...

He's very sick this time again though. I have kept him in bed with me and he has not even tried to get up. His fever is high, and once again, i can't seem to get it under control. He has not had a wet diaper all day. He hasn't eaten. He's drank maybe a cup of juice for the past 24 hours. He is very weak. I am going to the clinic tomorrow in the morning, because tht is when the pedi will be in. If he keeps being this way, I will just bring him to the ER tonight. I'm waiting to see if the suppository happens to drop his fever a bit, because everything else isn't working.

I just feel extremely nervous, I have this sinking feeling in my stomach. When I was born, I spent the first year of my life in the hospital. I was an extremely sick baby. I'm terrified. I just want to see him get better. I feel so heartbroken.

I would take him now. He is probably extremely dehydrated. Poor baby  

If he hasn't had a wet diaper all day, I'd take him him like now. He's probably dehydrated.

The sooner you take him, (possibly) the less serious it will be. With his history and not having a wet diaper, I would take him now.

Take him! It sounds like he is dehydrated and a high fever can get very dangerous fast! And I feel you, my DS was in the hospital every other week when he first started daycare. It was nerve-wracking.

omg I need prayers please. I am completely heartbroken. I can't imagine if he needs to be hospitalized again and all those needles and seeing my baby cry for me. I need to try to stay calm but I can't deal seeing him suffer like this. My little angel.

I know it's not about me, my mind is just a whirl wind right now. I remember when he was hospitalized, the doctor talked about a possible problem with the anti-bodies in his blood that are not protecting his blood like a normal persons anti-bioties would. Idk if that makes sense.

It will be ok! He will need IV I'm sure but it will help him. I bet once they get some fluids into him he'll be more like his usual self. Try not to stress, I will pray
