hat do ya think of home school

well today in my town some man on drugs try to hijack a school then they had someone shooting by the elem. so i think i wanna home school my girls.. just to know they are safe everyday..

I think that's a silly reason to homeschool. Your child is a LOT more likely to be hurt in a car accident.

Fack, I am thinking about it now too.
Then I remember that I could not keep my sanity and home school, I would have to pick one or the other.
I choose sanity.

I think that's a poor reason to homeschool.

But homeschooling is great if you educated enough to do it. But I don't believe most people are.

I think choosing to homeschool out of fear is not good for your kids.
will you not allow them outdoors? in a car? mall? movie theatre? swimming pool?

i think someone can on a school bus and beat up the bus driving i think my babies are safer home.. and if anything were to happen to my girls i would want it to be on my watch.. not that i want anything to happen to them.. i would die if anything bad happen

I don't think you should home school your children.

I think it's a knee jerk reaction and should only be done as a last resort by someone who is qualified.

Don't do it because you want to shelter your kid from the world.

Honestly, my DD's teacher sent a letter home explaining that the school was extremely safe and that she would put the kids before herself. Those are bold words to say in my opinion, to basically tell me that if anything occurred, she would be the first to protect my child and put herself in harms way. It's great for those who can home school, but your child is going to live in a bubble or be anti social if you don't let them leave the house, because those violent acts can happen anywhere; soccer fields, malls, school, playgrounds, businesses, etc.

Plus will your children not go to other kids' house? They would need socialization if you homeschool

've been thinking about home school for 3 years.. its not just what has happen that has made me think about it.. its b/c around here the school sucks and i was going to school to be a teacher
