Well you should get him into therapy so that he learns cooping skills and can speak to someone other than mom and dad that he will learn to trust.

Along with therapy he will be evaluated for that.

Oh man being uninsured iis rough during a time like this.
Maybe his lack of impulse control is due to ADHD, but only a child specialist will know for sure.
Didn't Obama Care make it so that if you can't for whatever reason have insurance, the state will provide some for you? or at least your children? My daughter gets insurance through the state of California.
There may be an emergancy medi-cade like thing he can get on temperarly.
Also a lot of places that evaluate children are low cost or free because they're atempting to help low income families.
Try contacting your local Social Services office to see what your options are regarding getting him insured.
Another way you can try is atempting to get SSI (Social Security Suplimental Income) for him. In the process of being evaluated for qualifying, they will have a doctor evaluate him for free. If he does have AS you are more than likely entidled
to monthly SSI checks and insurance through the state through them for him.

Im starting to think that ADHD is what it is, the more I look into it.

As for insurance, i bbelieve he would wqualify for Medicaid, they just want you to jump through so many hoops here, we tried to get it for him before and they cut it off when DH couldn't attend a mandatory meeting that was scheduled without events taking his job into consideration. He couldn't get work off so they closed the case or whatever before we ever even got approved fully.

As for SSI, I thought they were going to be cutting SSI for kids with Aspergers? Its being removed from the DSM or whatever and grouped in with Autism?

I think you may be right about them removing it from the DSM, but Autism would qualify as a disability that you can get SSI for.
Some serious forms of ADHD can have the effects he is displaying. Even if that's all it is and he doesn't qualify, maybe the evaluating doctor at SSI can refer you to some resources.
If you need any help with medi-cade, let me know. I've been disabled my entire life and know how to fight that battle all too well.

I know he has behaved quite badly, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Have you thought about talking with his school's psychologist? or a school social worker? They should be able to lead you in the right direction.

I don't know that they have one. When we went for orientation after we registered him, they introduced or talked about the teachers, the principal, gym teacher, art, music, etc. But never mentioned that

I would ask, because most schools do have some sort of counselor on staff. They only really work with the kids who need their help, so they are kinda behind the seens a lot.
