Co sleeper or Mini Crib?

posted 18th Dec
I am still deciding on what would be a smarter purchase, what do you think?
Let me explain my situation.
My boyfriend leaves for boot camp in feb and after her graduates he will have a year and a half of training to be a navy nuke.
I will have the baby in June and probably won't move with him until December of next year so that he can settle into the program and won't have a screaming newborn distracting him from his studies.
In that time i will be living with my dad, i have a very small room so a full sized crib will not fit. I will be breastfeeding.
Which do you think would be best for my temporary stay at my dads house?

I have used a pack n play with bassinet with both my kids when they were babies. I have it right next to me side of the bed so that I just have to roll over and get baby to nurse and then put baby back to bed.

I put my newborn in his bouncer sitting up to sleep, thats the only way he will sleep.

As long as you're not a super heavy sleeper and do some research on safe co-sleeping I would vote to co-sleep.I've done it with all 4 of mine and love it. I think it makes night time nursing sessions much easier.

I love the idea of co sleeping but it makes me nervous. My boyfriends mom is a pediatric nurse and she has seen a few cases of mothers suffocating their baby on accident while sleeping. That scares me. My cousin however has slept with her son from birth and he's almost 3 and she still does. My aunt also slept with all 4 of her children, but the risk outweighs the benefit for me.
