This is how I look at it, TBH. I bought something for my ex husbands new gf for Christmas. Kind of just like an Olive Branch. ( Nothing big, a $10 gift card to Dunkin Donuts lol).

That's what I would do too... My oldest DD has always gone to her fathers a different time and I have always had her Christmas morning.

Id like to say yes, but she did a lot during our custody battle that I just won't let go, i have to have a relationship with my ex and that's all I have to do,

Buuut, my husband and ex are really cool now, I'm glad they are able to have a good relationship...

If she was nice and planned on being a part of the kids' lives I would. But I can't imagine any woman my DH picking after me would be that nice lol.

i would invite her over it wouldnt matter if we just got devoriced or its been years...it shows the kids you still respect your ex their dad and to me christmas is about being together not holding on to grudges

I truly agree with this.

My kids will be around this girl, whether I like her or not, it'll be easier on ALL of us, if we all try to at least get along. Once again, obviously, this isn't my problem this year, but it may in the future.

I agree with this, though I wouldn't invite them over if they just got together... Mostly confusion for the kids, no grudges or anything. I also wouldn't have my kids meet my boyfriend until we've been together at least a year.
