12 week ultrasound video done at Cable Huntington Hospital in WV.

I am 33 weeks and 6 days. This is a older ultrasound. The hospital was able to burn the DVD on site for me. A lot of people were showing theirs that they had recorded with a phone or camera. This one was straight from the ultrasound machine.

very cool! They did a lot for your 12 week scan! I never got one done at 12 weeks I had one done at 8 and 7 so I guess there wasn't really much for them to see/do haha. It wasn't until 20 + weeks they did the arms and legs and showed us all the cool stuff.

I chose to have this ultrasound done to check for Down Syndrome and other disabilities. They can only perform this test between 12 and 13 weeks. My hospital didn't have the certification to do this and they were sending some ultrasound techs to Cable Huntington for testing. They asked pregnant women about having this done free of charge. I signed up ASAP.

Next Thursday I get my 3D ultrasound done at my doctor's appointment. I am more excited about that then Christmas.

can't beat that! I had an elective done at 15 weeks and 17 weeks for gender check   I think we are gonna skip the 3D this time around though. Don't have the extra funds for it

Thankfully my insurance covers mine. I am considered a high risk pregnancy so they let me get by with some things. I have never seen anyone get a 3D ultrasound before. I witnessed all my nieces and nephews ultrasounds but my sisters never got the chance to get a 3D one.

that's great your insurance covers it! (not great that you're high risk, but you know what i mean) do you know what you're having yet?

Yes, a little girl. My dream come true. Alexis Marie is due on 1/31/13. She is my first child and most likely my only child. Nor for medical reason, but my fellow already has two children with his ex-wife and I don't feel we can afford a second child. If by chance I do get pregnant again I will still be happy. But for now she is all I want.

awww congrats! It's season of the girls for sure. I don't know anyone else having a boy and i know 13 pregnant chicks right now.
