Baby or Body (Vent)

Well, I went for my 38/39 week appt. and I was three centimeters, but he could stretch me to a four. He decided to strip my membranes, and I was like YES! lol. even though I knew there was a chance of it not working, but hey, I figured I was already 3 cm, going on 4, why wouldn't it work? Well, last night I had regular contractions which were 7 minutes apart, and like the last time, they went away the next day! WTF??!! They started getting irregular this morning, and then just stopped. I just don't understand., Is my body not ready? Or is this baby just a stubborn child?? lol. But I'm so frustrated, I want him out so bad =[
Plus it would be nice to get a pic with his 6 wk old cousin, since they live in Georgia, and don't have the means to come here often =[
THIS SUCKS! What am I to do?
I love being pregnant,but it's getting just plain frustrating...

When my dr stripped my membranes at 39 weeks i had consistent contractions that were 10 min apart for about 2 hours but then they stopped after that 
i had to be induced on my due date.
but i was only 1cm dilated and like30% effaced.

Yeah I'm 3 and 80%

But that sucks! I knew it only started contractions, but my body has done this to me a couple times, consistant for a day or so, sometimes up to three days, but don't get 5 minutes, and when they do reach five, they stop!
So it's like .... Does my bdy hate me, or does my baby just not want to come out lol.

Oh yeah, and they don't induce unless you're a weeks over =[

aww that sucks too hear and im not going to tell you ""to enjoy being pregnat cause once the baby gets here it goes by soo fast"" because i would hate it when people would say that to me...i hurt like helll and felt miserable plus i was soo ready for her to be out!!!!!

but trust me i know what its like and i know its hard to be patient.
All i can tell you is to sleep as much as you can!!!!!
 

what do u mean by stripping your membranes? is that like breaking the bag of water?

Thanks for not saying that lol. But I do. I took a two hour nap today, it was fantastic! It's nice to be able to not work, sleep whenever you want, eat almost whatever, ect. without being yelled at! Haha. ohyeaahhh AND NOT SCOOPING KITTY LITTER! =]

But no, thye didn't break my water.I think they just go around and detatch the sac from the placenta a little, I'm not quite sure, but whatever, it's supposed to make you have contractions and go into labor, so I was all for it hehehe

Haha I've tried. It seems like nothing is helping here =[
I've walked, squatted, had sex(which was quite uncomfortable lol), and it STILLLLLL stopped!

I'm right where you are and not dialated one bit!!!
I just want this little sucker to be here already and its looking like I am going to be overdue!!!

I know! lol. I want to holdhim so bad =]Ugh, and actually be able to sleep. I got perfect sleep until the last three nights~!


But good luck to you too! I hope you dialate lol. But that's oaky my dr. said usually with your first, you efface before you dialate. I was just lucky. But maybe not. my SIL was 1 cm, they stripped her memebranes, and she had him almost the next day.
