tonsilectomy on 5 year old

Is it worth it to have them out young ? My daughter gets sick and coughs up tonsil stones and its so gross . I didn't the same thing for years that's why I had mine out last month . I heard kids heal faster but is it more benificial

I had mine out when I was 5. It's true, kids do heal faster. I'd say better to get it out of the way now.
