re: getting a tubal after vaginal delivery

We are done, done, done with having kids but we are still waiting until I am about 6-8 months after delivery just in case something happens. Our OB talked to us and he sort of scared us but I know he just has to be real and do his job and we appreciate the reality check.

The midwife asked if I wanted one. I said definitely. Then she said that I'll have to sign papers consenting to a c-section and tubal. I don't want a c-section unless it's necessary.

That's bull smurf. Your Midwife doesn't know what the hell she's talking about. I plan a vaginal delivery only having a c section in an emergency situation and my OB would tie my tubes the next day if I wanted him to.

This is the same doctor's office that tries to schedule everyone to be induced. I did switch to the other office in town, only for the two to merge together. So now I'm back to the same office.

That doesn't really make any sense. If he feels done having children he should feel done regardless of who he is with. My DH is done. Whether we were split or not. He still has these two children that he feels content with and also has to financially support. It's not like they just go away if you split. His way of thinking is kind of odd.

I have to agree my SO wants one more but i am DONE DONE DONE DONE.

He's settling for 2 kids because of all the complications that I have. But in the event that I die or something, he wants to be able to have more children.
