Did I lose my mucus plug after ,my vaginal exam ?.....

Yesterday morning I went to my 37week check up i was 1cm dilated .after the vaginal exam my dr said I would have spotting well that stopped around noon ,later last night I began passing large clots and the "blob came out " the biggest thickest blood clot with white mucus and I'm continuing to pass brown red an pink blood with mucus is that still spotting or did I progress by losing my plug next appointment is Friday I worried if I should head back now

If ur passing bright red blood I would go in... my mucas plugs were nothing like blood clots...
Is baby moving??

Are you still bleeding? Was the clot bright red blood? Or was it more mucous-y with some red streaks in it?

I think u should def ring labour and delivery if u are still bleeding hun. My plug came out on my due date but i didnt have the baby for another 2 weeks. But i only spotted for a few hours afterwards. Call them now and see what they say. Fingers crossed for you... keep us updated x

My mucus plug didn't look anything like that. I also didn't have a bunch of blood clots with it. Who knows, it could be normal....but I would get it checked for sure. You're so close, and it's better safe than sorry.

I don't think a bloody show usually comes with a bunch of clots though...

Idk I've never had a bloody show lol, just sounds like a lot of stuff to be coming out at end of pregnancy,

Im 38 weeks and got checked yesterday. Had a little blood from being checked but this morning it is dark bloody and mucusy? I am dilated some and cervix are soft. Having a lil cramping. Could i be close to labor?

ya u did,but its no worry it only means that labor is on its way.

With my first i never lost my mucus plug however I did have bloody show. It honestly scared the living **** out of me. I was 5 days away from my due date and I went to the bathroom and when I wiped the toilet paper was full of blood (like heavy period blood) I wiped four times and covered the toliet paper with blood there were some clots but not big (maybe a little bigger than a pea). I went immediately to L &D and of course by the time I got there it had stopped I wasn't contracting and they couldn't find a cause for the blood so they sent me home....I woke up at 5 am in labor!

Yes he is moving

It was a thick dark brown blood clot with withe grayish mucus ,

Yes contractions started 1hr after but were inconsistent

Not sure but sounds like we're both having some of the same things after being checked
