Oh I agree .... and even sometimes with politics if I'm told to butt out that's cool. However when its a 'personal' opinion D&D (like this one was), it annoys me that everything is always automatically US by default and anyone from another country should go by American rules.

I agree entirely, I found with the election we had this problem. I mean I agree that we can't really relate to a lot of issues, specifically gun control and a few other things, but as far as healthcare and things that we do have in place, who could possibly be better to inform and debate universal healthcare than people who have it?

I also find that the media hugely sways the American opinions on universal healthcare. And because of that I wonder if our media is swaying our opinions on stuff that we don't have. KWIM? It's a smurfing slippery slope and during a tragedy or if its regarding something I have no experience with I'm fine butting out, but I refuse to be told my opinion is invalid in policies and procedures we've had in place for decades.

I don't mind for the most part and I even didn't mind when my own TTC thread was ripped apart by a few American women because they thought I was irresponsible being TTC without at least $5,000 saved for medical costs.  

But recently its really started to get to me ... and I know this happens on both sides that sometimes Americans are ripped to pieces by people from other countries. So I was just wondering what people thought about having a US and International D&D

I know   it was hilarious because the only medical thing I paid out of pocket for my entire pregnancy was a $200 3D ultrasound for my anatomy scan.

My pre-natals were expensive because I bought them at the supermarket. We still have to pay for prescriptions and GP here

my son also had problems digesting breast milk and I saw 4 lactation consultants, a nutrionalist, and a paediatric dietition and got the whole lot back from medicare.
