Thanks friend! She's doing really really well. I fed her in the recovery room right after she was born and she latched perfect and has been doing great since then. She's a little piglet! Eats all the time so I'm a bit sore but it's so worth it. I never knew how rewarding BF could feel. I love the bonding. Thank you again for all of your help!

Thanks! He is here!! Born 12/20 at 10:10am c-section. 8Lbs even and 20 1/2 inches long.   I'll post photos when I am home and settled!   How are you and Miss. Charlotte doing?

We are doing really well. She is 1 week old today and I am still breastfeeding. She's sleeping in 3 hour intervals which is so nice for me.. and changing every day! I swear every morning I wake up and she looks a little different.

Aww I am glad breastfeeding is going so well! I am doing well, some high bp came back but they think it's due to the pain I have had today. Connor had his first cluster session last night right before my milk came in this morning. Nursed from 6pm till 1am on and off .. Was so exhausted. Got to sleep from 3-7:15 am with no interruptions as he slept as well which was pretty great. However they do the billi (sp) ruben (sp) testing now here and he has a slight case of jaundice. He is currently on the glow light thing in the room, I can still nurse but it's been hard. He has to be on it until the morning so far and his levels went from a 13 to a 12. They brought me a hospital grade pump to pump after and in between feedings so we can get some more bowel movements out of him. He will have more blood work in the morning to see how the light is doing and hopefully we can take it off .. He has been on it since 9 or 10 am and went down 1 level as of 2 hours ago. So fingers crossed. Other then that he is doing well.

Charlotte also had a small case of jaundice (a 7 I think?) but not enough to be on the light. They just told me to try to get her in the sunshine once we got home. I feed next to a window with the sun coming in and that's seemed to help a lot. I know the frustrations with breastfeeding and even though it's only been a week I've noticed it'd definitely gotten easier. The first night in the hospital was so hard because of the pain and she was nursing ever hour 1/2 so that was tough. But now that we're home she feeds once every 3 hours and that is such a blessing. I never knew how thankful I'd be to get 3 hours of sleep! Lol.

Yes he is here! He's beautiful. Has really bad acid reflux though.   So that has been rough. Today they told us one of his newborn screenings came back abnormal. But, not to worry because sometimes they do , and nothing is wrong. They can't put him on any acid reflux meds until they do more testing. So it's been stressful. He won't eat during the day unless we run the water faucet...
