He may be like my son. He grows up but not out. My little guy is skinny but tall.

Genetics do come into play. Small parents tend to produce smaller children, naturally.

DHs two younger brothers are 19 and 18, 6'3 and weigh like 150 max.
DH is 6'3 and 280, and if he was 150 he'd be sickly.
People are just built differently.

it was thier new pedi since moving so she was making me a little nervous about it but his old pedi was nerver concerned about it. He is a picky eater but all of my kids are (and so am I)

My son turned 4 in August and last night at the dr he weighed 38.5 pounds.

My daughter just turned 4 a three weeks ago. She weighs 32 lbs, we weighed her late last week. She was just under 30 lbs for a very long time. I can't remember for sure, but I think she is about 40 inches, though it might be more like 42 inches? I'll have to check and she isn't here right now.

My son turned 2 in September and currently weighs 24 lbs. He is little.

Many pedis seem to expect really chunky kids, it seems. Not surprising since childhood obesity is a large (pardon the pun) problem in the USA.

My middle turned 4 on Dec 4th and weighs 39.8lbs, she hasn't gained/lost in a year either.

My DD is 4.5 yrs old and is 28lbs. Our pedestrian has no issues with her weight at all. Since she eats the same amount a growing 10 yr old boy would and can eat. LOL she is about 35inches tall.

My son is like 41-42 lbs and has been for a while. He continues to get taller and is 44 inches tall.
He got the big gene in both of our families b/c my husband and myself are little people.

my son weighs 40 pounds!

Matt will be 4 on the 27th, he weighs 48.5 lbs. He's a bit on the tall side although I havent measured his height lately.
