Has anyone tried Hypnobirthing?

posted 17th Dec
If so what did u do to train yourself and how did it go?

I did it with my first labour and have my own opinion/experience of it, but would love to hear other people's experiences?

It was awesome straight to the end! The last 30 min or so took a LOT of focus and counter pressure from my doula and reminding me of my peace cues, but I was in "labor" for 35 hours. I'm not going to complain about 30 min lol.

Wow thats so long! It was 22 hours for me and I'd say just the last 3-4 hours were really unpleasant.

My mum was getting really exhausted and i was relying on her for the cue's etc that might be partly why it stopped working for me.

I also had a waterbirth which i was hell bent on having cos it sounded so ideal. In theory i still think it's great but I'm not doing it again for this baby unfortunately

I also had a water birth. I'm sooooo doing it again for the next baby, whenever that is. Good luck to you again! I loved my birthing experience!
