Quoting Meagan Hill:" I know it's not the end of the world, but I still feel crappy for breaking my diet. And Saturday is our ... [snip!] ... trash, why not take that money and buy food to donate to a shelter where the food would actually be eaten by people who need it"
ehh, maybe you should have gone with your first instinct and purchased a smaller cake then. Idk, you can keep it around the house, but that means you or your family will be eating it. I was just saying what *I* do, and have successfully lost weight by doing so. I've had several gatherings/parties to go to, and I've made cheesecakes, pies, cakes, all sorts of stuff. When the party is over I ask others to take it with them or throw it away. That's just me though. Plus I don't give two smurfs what my DH thinks about me throwing out junk food, I want him to live longer and he needs to eat healthy too. (He recently had a heart attack though and he's not even overweight, so it's easy to convince him not to eat crap). We just don't keep it in the house, plain and simple.
