SO and our roommate are having deer sausage... I'm making potatoes and veggies to go with. As for me, I'll likely just make some rice or something quick.

You should make rice pilaf. You just sweat some onions and carrots, add rice, brown a little, add water, cover & cook, then season. It goes soo good with baked fish
