I read something posted yesterday about how the focus should be more on mental illness than gun control, and I agree. If someone wants to shoot up a school, they'll get a gun regardless of the laws.

And sometimes people don't realize that if you SUDDENLY institute something like gun control, the only people who will be hurting are the law abiding citizens who are now forced to turn over their guns.

Canada has a much smaller, more spread out population and it's just too damn cold to give a damn about going outside, let alone going all the way to some place to kill people.

If you took the guy who chopped off buddy's head on the greyhound, the one who shot up the mall in Toronto or the handful of other shootings and multiplied them by 100 then who's to say we wouldn't have as many massacres? We have the same ratio of mental illness as any other country, you add in more people you add in more psychos.

Yes. This too. It makes me sad that people are using this as a chance to fight about gun control, it's like kicking us while we're down.

lmao! The weather here makes me want to kill myself rather than other people, it's so depressing and dark today.

*Shrugs* I guess it's because only my family and friends (in real life) are on my faacebook and I'm American lol. I honestly don't let opinions on America bother me on forums like BG that are international.

idk about you, but everyone I know who has a gun right now, is not just gonna hand it over, because the government says so...

Is any post going to change things? Did you expect to open this and it be this golden thread that changed the world? Maybe if one smurf reads this and thinks "oh that's how people view my criticisms? Maybe ill stfu and mind my own business." Then mission accomplished.
