baby shower date????

I'm due may 10th. when should we do the baby shower? I worry about if she comes early that I wont have time to get everything ready.

I was due March 3rd, my shower was in mid-Feb. I was 37 weeks.

I had my baby shower at 32 weeks.. glad I did because he was born four weeks later
Plus we waited to buy anything until after the shower

My sisters threw me a surprise baby shower 2 months before my due date.
after that day we had everything ready and more! x

34 weeks or so. And you shouldn't be depending on others for your baby's things, so most of your stuff should be ready regardless..

we have diapers and a few clothes but I'm waiting to get the rest after. I hare taking things back lol. plus if we get any gift cards that should help.

Yeah but you can't expect others to be buying you such expensive things. And some people feel gift cards are impersonal. I didn't get any. And a lot of people bought what they wanted even though I had two registries. Just dot get your hopes up and make sure you save to get the bigger stuff.

Mine was at 35wks. We had already bought all the big stuff ourselves, we waited to buy a lot of clothes because that's what most people give at baby showers.

not worried about the crib for a while. my mom is getting us a bassinet. we will get the stroller once my husband has been with his new job a bit longer. trust me its all in the world. I'm only 19 weeks right now.

I'm having mine at 30 weeks. I dont have a history of preterm labor, but you just never know when your LO is gonna be ready. I want to have everything here and done by 36 weeks. I figure having the shower at 30 weeks gives me 6 weeks to get everything else I want/need.

i'm having mine at almost 39 weeks...it was supposed to be earlier but stuff came up...luckily we already have the big stuff still from our first lo so really all we need is diapers and wipes...mostly we are just having this one for the fun since i didn't really have a shower with the first one...
