BBQ pulled chicken

posted 17th Dec
I found a recipe for pulled chicken (crock pot) and was goin to make it today, but now I'm thinking it might be too sweet. It's chicken, BBQ sauce, 1/2 can cherry coke and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Could I just add some vinegar? Or do you have any other recipes that are good and not super sweet? The BBQ sauce is honey BBQ cause its all SO likes. Please help

I just put regular BBQ sauce.

Cook the chicken in chicken broth, let it cook for a few hours. Drain the broth. Pull it apart and add BBQ sauce.

This is what I do, except I leave a little bit of the broth and add the sauce to it.

Haha. I'll probably just leave it as the recipe says. I found another one that takes a McCormick powder BBQ and some other stuff but I don't feel like going to the grocery store again.

I would just add the 'sweet' ingredients slowly a little at a time and taste it as you go so it doesn't get too sweet.
