Baby-Moon

How many of you have planned or plan to go on a vacation with your significant other before the baby came/comes?

Where did you go or where do you plan to go?

I'm just wondering if I'm crazy because I'm planning to baby-moon in hawaii with my boyfriend in august. Plus, I love hearing stories from you all!

we're going to flordia next tuesday!!!! but we already have a kid, so its not really a baby-moon, cuzhes coming....and we're going with my inlaws....but im still really excited!!!!! it'll be hard to go on a trip like this with another little one.

With each of my pregnancies me and my husband went out on a little vacation. With my first we went to Ohio to seaworld. My second we went to Florida to Disney, my third we went to a ski lodge where my husband skied and this one we went to marriage spa.

My hubby and I wanted to do something special before the baby came. But we have no idea what. It could be something as simple as going to the closest big city. Going to see a movie, have dinner somewhere really nice and staying over in a hotel. We have no kids yet, this will be our first, but I swear we live like we have 3. haha we NEVER get out.

My man works out of town for a couple weeks at a time and right now they're working in Boca Raton, FL on a hotel. So sometime this month or next month i'm goin down there!

hawaii is on the horizon for us too. i want to drive cross country and back but the hubby is dragging his feet. And I'm the preggo one!! lol. i figure it may be our last chance for quite a while!!

What is a marriage spa?

We scheduled a weekend in Virginia Beach. DH wound up not being able to go at the last minute because of work stuff, so I went alone. It was a BLAST! And it was probably my last chance to actually be alone for a very, very long time. I wish he had come, but either way it was nice to get out of Richmond for a short bit.

My hubby and I did a "babymoon" with our last. It was pretty great. We didn't want to go far so we went to Geneva, NY. It's wine country and though I'm not much a wine drinker, it was pretty rockin'. Even just haning out by the lake, the hotel room...it was cool. I think just having the time together, before a new member enters your lives is very calming. I recommend babymoons to anyone having a baby!!

Me & my hubby are going to the All Good Festival. One last time to go to a 4 day camping music festival without a child. Although, I won't get to party like all the other times we went. I want our baby to experience a music festival in utero. Thought it might make a good story to talk about when our child grows up. And even if it is one last time without child going....I'm sure, not next year because our baby will be too young but in 2010, we will be bringing our baby to the All Good Festival. It's very child friendly. And the people who do party hard are still the sweetest people to all the young at this festival.

We went to Washinton DC. In december and went up state to see snow cause my boyfriend has never seen snow. It was a nice trip. We went site seeing and just spent time together.

thats awesome! see, chloe is hearing music constantly because of where I work and what I do. I think she may hate music when she comes out! haha

I wish I could afford to go on a baby-moon I was gonna take a long weekend and drive to virginia to see my boyfriends sister but he doesn't think it's a good idea for me to drive 9 hours there and back while I am prego. PSHHH
