Well that's depressing

This morning, I found out that a friend from high school was hit walking down the side of the road, and died. I hadn't talked to him in years, but we had a few classes together my sophomore year and for a while he was my dance partner in Ballroom. I guess I'm in shock. Shortly after my daughter was born, I found out that an ex of mine was laying in the middle of the road and got run over. He died immediately and no one knows why he was just laying in the middle of a busy road. Around the same time, a good friend of my mom's, who was also my dance teacher, died of cancer. There has been a lot of loss this year and I'm terrified for who is going to be next.

I am.worried because I have my 10 year reunion this year and my class has lost at least 10, rumored to be 19 because 9 people can't be located and haven't been heard of it years. That is a scary number when the oldest person in my class would only be 29.next year.

I'm so sorry   Losing someone, even someone from your past is hard and very confusing.

The day after I found out I was expecting my son I found out that my high school sweetheart had been murdered in Paris. I had JUST talked to him 2 days before and didn't believe it was true until he missed calling me for my birthday. He never missed calling for my birthday.

He may have been an "ex" but we were very much connected and it absolutely broke my heart when I found out someone stole his life for his wallet.

It is scary. I hear of people dying all the time, but it's different when it's someone you knew.

I'm sorry to hear that. I still can't believe it. I have a hard time dealing with death, my grandpa has been dead for two years and I still wonder if he's just doing to show up one day.

I still pick up my phone to call my grandma... She's been gone for four years.
