If you tore with one birth and got cut with one birth, vaginally. Which was worse, at what angle, how severe and how long did it take to heal?

If you had another kid to chase around was it difficult not ripping out stitches chasing a toddler?

I had an episiotomy with my first and it was so painful. I was taking sitz baths for months, couldn't sit right for months couldn't have sex without pain for like a year. It sucked!

With my second I tore naturally and it didn't hurt much at all. It healed within a few weeks and i didn't even have to sit funny lol. I wasn't scared about my stitches coming out either and i had a 3 year old to chase after.

I tore with both of mine! The first time I had like 3 or so stitches and he was only 6lbs 2oz...my second I only had like maybe 2 stitches and he was 10.05lbs. I healed pretty fast with both! And I wasn't worried about the stitches ripping out or anything. However, I did wait a little while before I started lifting my 3 in a half year old...just in case.

Was cut with #1. It went left instead of straight down and was 2nd degree. I was able to walk normal like 5 days after, and felt completely normal 2 weeks after.

I had a 3rd degree tear with this one. I'm 11 days pp and it still bothers me. It barely stopped hurting (to where I can sit/get up/walk) around 9 days. But I think these stitches are dissolving sooner than they did with my episiotomy because I already feel them itching.
