My husband is Jaymes and our daughter is Jayme

I know of girls named after their dads like Danielle when dad is Daniel.

I named my Ds after my mom. She is Joann (friends call her Joanie) & he is Jonah.
I prefer to do that than direct naming. Like if I had a daughter I don't think I would have named her Joann - but maybe Johanna. I like the idea of honoring someone AND each person having their OWN name.

My stepdad's name is Paul David, my step brother's name is David Paul, he wanted my little sister to be named Pauline :/

He and my mom ended up naming her Jessica Pauline

I checked the last option then realized that I was mistaken. There's a family here where three generations of women had Jo as the second part of their name (I went to school with one of the girls and her name was Amber Jo) and it's because her mother was named after her father

My cousins middle name is quinn after her dad. My brother has the same middle name too

Funnily enough my aunt's name is Bonnie Lee, and her husband so happened to be Michael Lee (their first and middles, not putting their last names)

So of course, all 3 of their son's middle names are Lee

I think it's a little silly. Seems almost like they have hyphenated last names instead of middle names.

Yes, SO's middle name is Alexander and DD's middle name is Alexandra
