Is it possible to have ADD/ADHD After Child birth?

I don't know much about ADD/ or ADHD, I don't even know the diffrence. But I know its 80% herited, Which my dad, grandma, & grandpa has. I didn't have any symptoms when I was a child. But I had my daughter 9 months ago, ever since I'm so forget ful, I forget everything! Litterly! I can't keep track of what I am doing, I never finsh anything I start. I just feel like I have alzheimer's. My mother made the comment saying I have ADD. So I was just wondering what does this sound like to you?

I don't want to say for sure because I really think you should go to a doctor if you truly think you have something like that, but that's just my opinion. I don't know if ADD or ADHD can be onset by childbirth if that was something you were wanting to know? But I don't see why it couldn't show up until later in life.

i think it comes with the infant territory. least in my experience but my DD will only be 7 months on Christmas eve.

I'm ADHD, and I can tell ya, NOTHING like the actual issues with it. Just motherhood

DH is ADHD and dyslexic as well.
