DH stalling vasectomy

Both my DH and I agree with 1000% certainty we are done having kids. I have paragard but it is (and has been for over 4 months) causing me immense pain most of the month.   I am horribly irresponsible with pills and hate hormones anyways. I am allergic to latex. But we agreed that one of us would get permanently fixed when we were done (me if I needed a c-section and they were already in there, him if not). Well I had 2 vaginal births so no tubes tied for me. I have asked him over and over to call a dr to get the ball rolling on this vasectomy so I can take this out and not be in pain anymore. He says he keeps forgetting but I think he may be scared. Any advice to help urge him to call?

Does he have to be the one to make the appointment? Or can you do it?

Probably scared of the procedure or unsure if he truely wants more kids someday. *shrugs*

He has to because he hasn't had a physical or anything in 4 years. The dr said he had to make an appointment for a physical (just to make sure everything is okay, which I have no doubt it is....he is a little overweight but no major health concerns) and then they can move forward with the vasectomy.

Did your SO/DH have it done?

I am about to that point. This pain is getting too much to handle.

I would just get your iud taken out and then withold sex until he gets.the big snip

So get it removed, and tell him absolutely no sex until he makes the call...I'm sure that would get the ball rolling. Or make him feel like an ass for causing you to be in so much pain for his own selfish reasons. Guilt usually goes a long way around my house   haha

he had a tube tie 6 years before we met it didnt work. thank god because we would have never had are son we plan on having one more and he said without me asking he is having it done after that. he has no problem with it.

he did say that the surgery itself hurt healing wise but it was no biggie he would do it again.

We only had sex once from the time I found out I was pregnant at 5-6 weeks until 10 weeks after I gave birth. My DH is very non-sexual. I am the one that wants it. He could go without no problem.
