I'm sur e this varies by state, but I have a major problem with speeding, it's not even extreme speeding, but I am on the bubble, I have one more point to go before I lose my Lis. IT's not for good is it?? lol.. I took a defensive drivers course and need to send the certi. in so I can get a 3 point reduction, just haven'tdone it yet.. they can't make you take drivers ed and your whole drivers test over can they?

Is it possible not to speed? Just a thought

I'd stop speeding if I got that many points.

And it's possible they can make you take your whole drivers test again, I don't know about driver's ed but they may make you take some kind of driving course, but you said you already took defensive driving.

I would just stop speeding and send your certificate in to get the point reduction, but like I said it's totally possible to lose your license and have to re-test to get your license back.

in ohio, you loose it for a set period of time, ie 6 or 12 months, then you can retest, like all over again, and pay a huge fine, and the insurance to cover you would be more money than most can afford. bottom line, stop speeding. other ppl are on the road, dont risk their lives bc ur in a hurry.

or get a bus pass. prolly much cheaper.

i say this as an ex speeder..lol. about 5 years ago, i got lots of points, and a very high insurance policy, and finally changed my ways. better to get over it now, than loose your license and have to find rides for a year. good luck love.
