Happened with my daughter's name. It's still not too popular anymore, but I hear it often enough to be annoyed.

DS middle name is Alexander. I also like Ariston, Addison, Amadeus, Axel, Aurelianus, Abram, Aleksey, Asa, Albus, Aloysius, August.

I actually used to work with a guy named Aleksey. He was from Russia.

Actually, you know what? I take that back!!! I forgot about this. I was in his pedi office and the nurse came out and called "Aiden". We thought it was us, so we started to walk towards her...and she said "Nope, this Aiden is a girl"

I'd forgotten about that.
