Would you support an agnostic President?
I am wondering from a status update on facebook. The woman was talking about Obama's speech about the tragedy in Newtown and said, "Thank you for sincerely calling out the names of each of those children and for mentioning GOD throughout your message."
Well, I was wondering if his speech would of meant less to her if he didnt mention God or any religion...and it got me to think about this question.

Sure. I identity as agnostic on most days, and I like presidents who don't shove their religious views onto the people.

I would. Someone's religion (among other things) doesn't attribute to their leadership skills and if they're a good person or not.

I'm not Christian, but I am religious, and I'd prefer an agnostic president over one that openly follows my religion.

I am atheist and I prefer to have a president whose religion is never mentioned. I think it's disgusting when politicians use their religion to try to get votes, as if their belief in a magic sky fairy makes them more qualified to run a country.
I actually do not believe Obama is very religious. I think he has to say he is so he doesn't face the backlash that comes with not being a Christian in this country.

I said yes, as I'd support an agnostic president that can get us back on the right track over Obama.
In general, I'd prefer a president who is jewfish or Christian and considers his/her faith strong.
