Your/your kid's WORKSPACE? -pics/advice-

Okay, so, in our old house,
my/our workspace was out in the living room

perfect cos of the lighting, easy to clean up floors.

In this house, we put the workspaces on the third floor.
Along with the playroom/game-nerd room/etc
There's my workspace (well, "my" ha, i say as i show a picture of carter using it  )


Then Carter's work space (a draft table on top of a coffee table i made)

And clara's..not pictured.
Is an easel at the other end of the space, where she has to stand to paint/draw etc.
She's loved it so far, but i'm thinking of getting her her own little workspace/desk, just fashioned out of a bench-type thing from Ikea.
With a little chair/storage etc.
So everyone has their own actual 'workspace'.

Sound good?

hmpff, haha, i was hoping to see how other's organized all the art goodies

We got P a little toddler chair/table set from ikea to go in her room. We're putting a roll of paper underneath that we can stretch over the top for her to draw on.

Our workspace is our living room floor lol. You should have seen me trying to paint while I was pregnant!

he has an easel in the kitchen which is uses.. but a lot of the time we use the kitchen floor

see, i'm thinking of moving the easel up to the mud room so she can use it while i'm in the kitchen, and the getting the bench for downstairs.

Lol oh yes!! I wasn't huge but it was rather awkward and I sat in some interesting positions lol. My dog thought she needed to paint too so I had to maneuver around her and my belly....

ok, here's our space  


the kids' work space next to my workspace and our toy storage


and the other side of the space has my "studio"


most of their big supplies I keep on the other side of the basement in the storage section…just because I don't want them getting in to the paints and materials when I turn my back for five minutes  


and they have an easel that they LOVE. we mostly use it in the kitchen, because paint goes EVERYWHERE and I don't want it in my carpet

My and the kiddos art space is the dining room/playroom. I don't have any current pictures but most of our supplies are in the main closet where the eldest can get to it. We've got a big table that Christopher and I use and Liam uses the little table.
Christopher right now is really getting into writing his letters so I am going through hordes of notebook paper but he's learning and loving how to write everything.
Liam's favorite thing right now is his Aquadoodle pad, which mommy loves cause there's no mess!
