re: BEST chocolate chip recipe?

I have played around with tons of chocolate chip cookie recipes over the past several months and still haven't really found anything that tops the basic Nestle Tollhouse recipe.   But some things that I've found that are vital to making them awesome: use salted, softened at room temperature butter and don't refrigerate the dough..both of these add to the thin/chewy texture.

Mixing in a box of vanilla pudding mix was really good too! It keeps them really moist for a few days. I wanna try the Nestle Tollhouse recipe + the pudding mix next time!

i plan on making choc. chip cookies tonight and just looked on allrecipes for the highest rating for the recipe i will use tonight. it looks fairly standard though.
