I would NOT get a travel system.

I would purchase a nice stroller that I could envision using for years down the road and get a car seat with a snapngo if it wont work with an adapter on your stroller. Baby will be out of the infant seat before you know it and you will still need a stroller.

Am I missing something? You can still use the stroller. We have been out of the infant seat for months and use our stroller still. 0.o

Of course you can still use the stroller, there are just much nicer ones (and I am not talking super expensive) out there then the ones that come with the car seats. I ended up using my lightweight jeep stroller (not an umbrella stroller) a lot more often then my heavy graco travel system stroller.

My stroller is maybe 7lbs. Its all aluminum and awesome as hell and came with a great car seat. My stroller plays music from my phone. To each their own.

Eh? My kid is 5 and we still use her stroller from the travel system.


OP I'm getting the Evenflo Journey 300 travel system in Marianna I think. It's cheap but wellmade. I played around with the stroller at Toys R US (or maybe Target, idr) and it folds easily with one hand and it folds pretty flat. I wish it was zebra print too,but it's still cute. Black and white flowers with hot pink accents.
