I feel the name way. But it's just, her name's "trendy" I guess.
It's Mackenzie. And Mac/Mc names are just used by all of the wrong people  
I have no problem with them being young, because, well, I'm 19  


It's the TYPES of young people that use them that bother me. Yaknow, "Who cares if I go out at night and get drunk? My parents can handle it during the night, I'm a mom, but I'm a teen too! I need to be young."

I don't care though Mackenzie isn't like a "look what a creative hipster I am" name.

I find myself still looking at hipster names when the last 3 years I've wished I gave Brooke a classic name.

Yes, I would. I don't like how common my sons name is and I only used it to please other people. His name would likely be Kieran or Maxwell going by what I liked then.

Jenna's first name isn't my fave, but it suits her. I can't think o anything else that would. I love her middle name, and I absolutely love all the other girls' names.

Yes I would have changed her name. Abigail Faith. Probably Anastasia or Annabelle or Abilene. Middle name would be Faye or something

Not with my son. With my daughter, I probably would have insisted on Madeleine more, only because her name is getting so damn popular and Madeleine is less popular around here. But she is who she is and I couldn't really imagine calling her anything else.

Absolutely not. My sons name is perfect, meaningful, and suits him exactly as it should. Unique (never met anyone else with it), but easy to pronounce with good NN options. Meanings in several languages too. Perfect.

I love my son's name and wouldn't change it at all! I always get positive comments on it. Although I'm sure BG would tear it to shreds!

I hope he likes it as he grows.

I am having a hard time finding a name I love as much as my sons for my 2nd pregnancy.

Sigh... Yes. I named named my older dd who is 9 when I was 18 and it was down to 2 names- Charlotte and Taylor. But I really wanted Sunshine to be her middle name and Charlotte Sunshine doesn't flow. Also, Taylor is my mom's maiden name so that's special to me. I do kinda wish I had gone with Charlotte but I still love Taylor and that's who she is! As for dd #2, if I had it my way, she'd be Delilah, Charlotte, or Natalie. I love the name Hailey but feel it doesn't age as well. She's 6 months now and I'm trying to get used to it still. I've actually been talking about changing it a lot. I wish SO and I had gone over names more, because I found out that he would have gone with Alice, Penelope (nn Nelly), Evelyn, and probably could've been talked into Charlotte. I was so set on Delilah though and he so dead against it that we were thrilled when we agreed on something..

My daughters name is Mya Isabella if I could go back it would be Mya Nicole which is what I wanted from the start but her dad didn't like it..I still think her name is cute though.

I don't regret my first two, but I think maybe #3 should have been something else. The problem was the only name I liked was Audrina and D HATED it with a firey passion. I was sick of the discussion so I went with the name he was in love with.
