i suggest everybody do this before their LO gets here.

go to build a bear and make your baby his/her first teddy bear. just from mommy or from mommy and daddy. it's so much fun! takes a lot of that stress away. they have baby friendly bears too, with stitched eyes so no choking hazards. we got the pink one for our baby Adalyn  . definitely worth it! pregnancy is stressful so have a little fun!

i'm doing this but its going to be a gify from my oldest to the baby! so my oldest gets to make it himself and pick out the outfit for it. i have been wanting to do it since i found out i was pregnant

My two brother in laws actually started a tradition like this with my two kids. they brought them each a build a bear when they were born and they are going to do it again with baby #3. 

I making my child a monkey but it from scratch and will match his coming home blanket and outfit :-) Can't wait to get his pictures done with all of it.

well boo on him. we decided not to do clothing and that when LO is old enough she can pick out the clothes and accessories... or she can make herself a new bear. whatever she wants. the we made is just a gift to her from her daddy and i when she gets here

I was a little worried how it would come out but it has been pretty easy to make so far just have the head left. Simplicity has what they call easy patterns and makes it easy to follow along and get good results :-)

we took my oldest their and did that get a $15 bear and 2 outfits for $15 on sat..e got her a horse my youngest got a white bear and we got my cousins a bear each and got a free bear for buying so much and 2 $10 gift cards
