Yay or nay? My husband likes them, and I'm creeped out by them.
Anyone have any experiences with them?
Are they worth getting?

i used one of these for both my kids. My daughter was born in dec where we live its very cold so it was a must and i liked these ones rather than the bags where you have to flip the thing over there face..these ones they dont touch their face when they are closed and you can wrap blankets around them under them.

These are like shower caps and are fine to use. They don't void the warranty.

I had one for my daughter and loved it. It was so much easier than layering tons of blankets on her when I took her out. Plus my daughter hated the wind, and would make crazy faces and hold her breath and then start screaming.

Everything i've researched has said any after market product voids the warranty.

These are an exception to that general rule. They don't impede the bealts or straps in any way so they're okay.


I used one years ago and I absolutely loved them.

they arent expensive at all at walmart either. So def worth getting and if you hate it dont use it. but i think they are great. blocks them from the cold and the wind or whatever other conditions you live in. you wont have to use it too long either...I will start using mine when my baby is 3 months cause it starts getting cold here late september early october

How can this void the warranty on your car seat? It slips right on and off, and does not cause any damage to it.

It doesn't go inside the carseat. It isn't really part of the carseat or straps.

The bundle me type ones void the carseat because it actually goes in between baby and the straps/carseat. This does not.

As far as I know, as long as you don't have to mess with any straps with after market products, they're safe. And apparently you can order them from some car seat manufacturers to match the pattern of the seat.

yeah i dont think this would void anything it just slips on like an elastic around the edges...same thing as putting a blanket over it. Doesnt go near any straps or anything.
