Thanks   she's definitely perked up. I don't think we're going to get to keep her though   the more out of her shell she comes, the more obvious it is that this is a cat very used to being secured and pampered. I hope we can keep her because I loooove having cats, but if she has a home already I hope we find them.

Oh yeah, definitely. Sometimes people just abandon their cats though too right? Like give birth to a baby and the cat makes them uneasy or something. You never know, I mean if it was my cat there would be missing signs around my neighborhood.

I don't get whats wrong with it. It's not like these are random names she made-up or have ridiculous spellings. Their real names with long histories rooted in mythology - I would MUCH rather see someone have taste like this than crappy made-up juvenile crap on the wrong genders that people use to try to be different.

Maybe, they just got sick of her and kicked her out or something   I haven't seen fliers for her around, and like.... my roommate saw her on the roof and the chick who owns the townhome said she'd been up there for three days. like, why would you not call the humane society or something if you knew she'd been stuck up there starving that long? She's lucky it's been raining the last few days or she would have dehydrated to death.

She might also be a stray that I haven't seen before, we have 3 that live in our alley that are super friendly because we all feed and love on them lol. They're pretty fat actually.

I think Amalthea is going to stick. Ev loves it because The Last Unicorn is one of her favorite movies right now.

She seriously has not moved from my lap in like 3 hours <3

I've had cats my whole life, toxoplasmosis isn't a concern. I just wear gloves.

I think that's just a concern for people who haven't been exposed to cat feces before. You've likely already been exposed to it several times in your life and built the immunities needed. I know I asked my dr. about it and she said it was only an issue if I got my first cat during the pregnancy.

Yeah, mine said to wear gloves (which IMO you should anyway, gross) but a mask and smurf would be unnecessary.
