Yeah, I'd hope there would be less exploitation. And if it could cut down on it, it would be for it.

For me if its a women's body or even mans body they should have the right to choose to do what they want with it.

Yes and no IMO. It means you won't have anyone underage working as a prostitute but I worry that the more legal brothel type places mean that it's less likely for the cops to catch a place that is forcing women into prostitution.

Legalize and regulate - just like a hundred other things I can think of. It's a moral issue that keeps it illegal. You legalize it, regulate it, tax it and make sure the people who are prostituting themselves are in for regular health checks and std screenings and there wouldn't be an issue.

I say legalize it. They're going to do it regardless. But if you make it legal, it would be safer for them, routine check ups for diseases etc. Its their body let them do what they want with it.

Haha. I'm sorry, I have to laugh. I do not think it's that easy. Especially in the US-- there is a lot of greed and corruption, which would not be cancelled out (IMO) because of making it legal. I would hope that it would help some, but it would not stop it. Know what I mean?

Porn is legal everywhere right? Why not prostitution. I'd vote to legalize it.

I'm against it. Prostitution affects a lot of younger women nowadays. If women believe that the only way they can make money is by having sex with others for money, why not just do porn where it's legal? Yes, you would be on film but at least there's no risk of diseases or murder possibilities. It's scary walking out on the streets at night as it is. At least in the pornography industry, the consenting adults need to be clean & sign waivers & there are witnesses to make sure everything is okay.
But that's just my take. To be honest, I watch a lot of Law & Order: SVU & the whole prostitution thing irks me because of the dangers of it.

Oh yeah - cracking down on pimps and such is an important part of regulating it, IMO.

But on film your family and friends can see it, not necessarily with prostitution. I could totally see the difference between wanting to do one or the other.

i think it should be lagalized, but regulated

I vote "Other" As long as they're grown ADULT women, I see no issue. I do however feel like they should be taken off the street and only allowed to do so in brothels for their own safety.
