I'm an atheist so I could care less but I had no idea Jesus wasn't born on dec 25th.

You wasted your time posting those links, I find it funny that you jizzed all over Christmas, so disrespectful, esp with what is going on with this country. Just because it's not his actual birthday, Jesus was born and died for our sins and Christmas is the holiday to celebrate that, IMO. If it's not for you, then what is it?

Christmas in my home is about a jolly fat guy who selflessly gives, and expects nothing in return but good behaviour. Not religion. You teach your children what you want. Jesus was born in a J month I believe. June or July.

How DARE you use the death of innocent children to fuel your stupid argument. That is smurfing ridiculous. It has nothing to do with Christmas or religion at all, it does not change that people disagree with you about religion or that Jesus WAS NOT born on 25th.
Christ and December are totally separate, they have nothing to do with each other according to the bible.

I assumed you were referring to the shootings.
I would be forced to say that crazy religious zealots like you are the reason for a lot of the bad that goes on in the country, so I think you need to stop talking and get an education on the real world.

my LO#1 is 3 and only knows who Santa is and what he looks like. She doesn't get anything else. She doesn't know Christmas is a special day or anything.

Its definitely my post that you are on. See I came on here for some useful information, not someone telling me how I should celebrate XMAS with my family.
You are ignorant and need to learn your facts. Just because your Christ is in the holiday doesnt mean that is how everyone celebrates it. Children of Athiests have to see the entire christmas display every year- do you think their parents will deny them that because of its name? No. Most wouldnt. Because thats not who or what its about for most peopleI know.
I didnt ask about anyones religion- and a bit of advice- keep shut when it coems to religion because no one gives a smurf what you believe in.
