water pills can be very dangerous. They usually only give them to older people. You can become dehydrated very easy. Talk to your dr though.

I definitely wouldn't, they're really not that safe   But when in doubt ask your doctor!

I would say, "NO" to water pills. Look, everyone retains water. It's a pain, but it's normal, so maybe you shouldn't be doing anyting to counteract that... right?

Look, here's what I keep saying: "What? Lose weight? Yeah, in about 5 months, I'm going on the famous, fabulous, ever-popular, Lose-8 Lbs-In-One-Day Diet."

After your baby, all this water will come right off, don't stress it   .

My sister in law took Lecethin (it's an extract from soy bean oil). It worked great for her. I've been taking it for a few days and haven't had any swelling yet. My Doc approves it. There isn't anything in it to hurt the baby or you and it help the transfer of fluids through your body vs retaining water.

No

I owned a weight loss clinic and that is one the things we sold you should not take water pills because it will put you into labour right now you are not ready for labour.

Please remember that water pills release water anywhere in your body and that also included your amniotic fluid.

OH forgot to mention it doesn't dehydrate you like a water pill would. It's completely safe!

it's not about losing weight, my hands keep going numb and my feet fall asleep...i talked to my dr. about it but forgot to ask about water pills. I called and they said no way its considered a diuretic or whatever and is very harmful...so i wont be doing that..i'm just uncomfortable and swollen.
