"I honestly would discuss the opportunity of returning to work after the baby was born with this employer you have found and the fact that you are currently pregnant. They honestly do not have to take you back after the baby is born that is their choice. You can see where they are willing to "bend the rules" for you in regards of not having been there a year to take company FMLA. My one friend dealt with this, she got her job got pregnant and wasn't there a year and they did not ask her to return.Sucks but it happens

I had it happen with me with my first DD, I had only been at my job for like 6 months when I was pregnant and when I had my DD they sent me a letter saying that I could not return at my original rate, that I would have to start at minimum wage again. Aw man. Well I know no matter what happens it will work out. I got interviewed for a job there that I didn't get this summer, but now the guy who got it already quit! I think my boss finally realized he wants me there perm. and now another job came up and he's pushing for me. After not getting the first one I feel embittered now so I have no high hopes for this one. If it happens, it happens. I will want short term leave but intend on coming back, not up and quitting like this guy did.

"Nope I didn't take the job back, I told them to basically piss off. I actually took time off to be a SAHM and then went to Culinary school and got a great job while in school. lol funny how it works sometimes.
