So they have to live with you? Cause he doesn't live with me at the time... We are rentivating our basement as an apartment like place for all 3 of us to live... So my mom can help watch the baby while me & him work...

Most likely not... We just started working on the rentavations... It will probably be up to 3 months after I have her... But if I say I don't want him to pay would that make a difference?

Medical, they ask for his info because he should be providing insurance, for baby.

They want to get the money back, they put into u,

Because they want to be paid back?? Its not free money... that's why they try to help with job training, so u can get off *transitional aid* transition into supporting urself, and some1 has to pay it back...

We don't get anything until after she's born & that's only a medical card... Here most young moms get that without wanting it anyways so basically its required to have here if you are under 21 with a kid... It's weird.

Here we actually have to work for it, not pay it back. I have a set number of hours i have to complete that i get "paid" for. I've never heard of anyone having to actually pay it back after.

if he can get insurance thru his job for the baby when she's born, u don't need medi-cal. Its required for u to have insurance
As a pregnant person ur eligible, the only people who are automatically enrolled are disabled people, people on ssi, ect

Yes while ur getting the assistance u have to do so much to keep getting it... when u get off, they will try and recover money...

I was on ca for like 5 months, his daad did not live with me, when I got off it they filed cs, and he payed back double what I got... when we were looking to buy a house I couldn't put in my name, because if I die after my husband they can take house...

Family friends had to put their parents on medi-cal so they could get more help taking care of parents in home, the lawyer advised they put house in their childrens names because if 1 dies, they will put a lein on house...

Because right now its just u... when babys born they will file for cs... my ex wasn't even on bc and they served him because I gave his name... I thought I was only 1 who could file cs, and I had no intention of doing that, they file and recover thier money thru cs...

No they aren't going for CS when she gets he, he is being put on the case with me. They said if he wasn't living with me they would go after him for CS, but since we are living together and he is in babys life, they won't since his income and work hours will affect our assistance.
