not sure if im leaking amniotic fluid

i am 38 weeks pregnant 3 days shy of being 39 weeks ..... Anyways today around 3:00 p.m i went to the restroom an went pee i noticed i lost some of my mucus plug well around 7:50-8:00 p.m i noticed i was leaking fluids not alot just very little about the size of a quarter i know its not discharge its very different and (TMI) it doesnt smell like pee there is no scent what so ever could i possibly be leaking amniotic fluid??

sounds like obnoxious and copious pregnancy discharge. if it were filling up pads over time, I might think it was amniotic fluid. But I'm also not a doctor and for peace of mind I would call them.

My water was leaking at 38 weeks too! It feels like baby oil...it's kind of a silky smooth liquid if you feel it. It definitely has a different feel to it. If it keeps doing it call the doc to see if you should go in. My water leaked and 2 hours later (45 mins of contractions only) and my daughter was born. Good luck!!

I did that too. Even went to L&D a few times.. Turned out to be discharge forever.. Then my water broke.. I KNEW that was my water..
