Sex after birth.

I know they say 6 weeks until u have sex BUT I'm just curious if anyone has done it before the 6 weeks is up. I didn't tear or anything bleeding has stopped and I'm almost 4 weeks PP my husband is complaining poor guy hasn't had sex for almost 2 months do u think it would be ok if we had sex on Xmas? Lol

wait 6 weeks. Sucks to be him. But I would rather wait than get pregnant again or get an infection.

yep 3weeks and i had a c-section ,its your body you know if you are ready or not

well i didnt try it....only because i didnt want to ( it was my time LOL) but i do have alot of friends that did it with no problem i think its all up to how your feeling down there if you up to it then more power to ya

I only waited 3 weeks after my daughter. I didn't tear and I wasn't bleeding anymore.

By Christmas you'd be pretty close to 6 weeks... right?

I waited 5 weeks

I waited like 3 days lol

10 days and it was fine and I had a csection

I waited until about 4 1/2 weeks. Everything was fine, didn't hurt to much either.

i had 5 stiches, tore on each side of my inner lips
& had sex at 3 weeks exactly. & it was amazing. i'm sure it wont hurt for you if you didnt tear.
my OB said a lot of people don't wait the 6 weeks, they dont expect you to wait, so thats why they say 6 weeks, just to be safe. 4 weeks is generally safe.
