drinking and drugs in pregnancy

this really grinds my gears, people who drink and take drugs when pregnant/im not talking about 1 glass of wine a week, im talking about heavy binge-weekend nights out.people say im a snob for this, but i cant think why anyone would want too hurt the 1 think they are ment to protect with there life!

That sucks for you I guess... I never felt better than when I was stoned and pregnant..

Yeah, it's pretty disgusting, but in the end what can you do?

Yeah, I'm against drugs while pregnant totally.

Seriously thought the same exact thing earlier- lots of controversial topics...

When my son was in the NICU from being born early there were two babies there addicted to drugs and one with fetal achole syndrome I will never forget them for as long as I live they were super sensitive to everything and couldn't be handled like other babies because they were sensitive to stimulation. They had to be keeping in private rooms in the NICU so they could have the door shut and basically no lights on due to be so sensitive.

The thing that made it worse is one mother said she had three kids this was her third and everyone was born addicted to drugs she would lose them for about 6 months then get them back after I was just shocked at her lack of compassion.

The other mother was working to get her addiction under control and was on methadone and found out she was pregnant and they wouldn't let her stop because it could cause the baby to go through withdrawals in the womb and die. She felt horrible and her I felt bad for because she was trying to fix things but I will never forget those three babies it’s hard to watch something so little go through withdrawals and hear the sounds they make doing it.

These babies mothers where not smoking weed for all you getting upset over it they where shooting up amoung other things.
