C-Section question

Im having a scheduled C-section on January 2nd due to medical issues,I would be 38 weeks. On thursday I found out I am 2 1/2 cm dialted, my OB said if I come back this thursday and I am anymore dialted they are going to move my c-section up, I was wondering if any one knows how much further they would move it up, I'd be 37 weeks on christmas but I know they wouldnt do a c-section on a holiday unless it was emergency, so i was thinkin the 21st or the 26th as possible days, he is measuring 2 weeks ahead so I think im further along so would it even be safe to have an earlier c-section?

We have the same due date   Just thought I would point that out. I'd try to hold off on the c-section as late as possible so the baby has as much time to develope as possible   Good Luck!!

i wouldnt let them until the date they planned comes. just because you dilate doesnt mean you will go into labor. and if you do they will just do the c sec when you do. i would hold off.
