40 weeks and proud :)

Am I miserable? Uncomfortable? Anxious? Tired of being fat? Absolutely! But I'm happy to say I made it this far. I'm full term as of today and I can't wait to hold my healthy baby in my arms. It's still crazy to think after everything she is perfect.
Pointless post, I know.

Not pointless!!!
So glad you're not bitching and complaining lol.

It's refreshing to see someone happy to be at 40 weeks, rather than all the chicks who complain about it.
I've never gone longer than 36 weeks. I'd be happy as a clam to make it to 40 lol.
'Grats on making your due date

Thank you
Me too, I signed up for this. I can't stand to see women bitching about how they want to be induced at 37 weeks then wonder why their baby had issues.

Exactly. It's only 3 weeks. Despite how it feels at times, pregnancy do not last forever lol.
Thank God we're not elephants.

YAY!!
I went on my own pretty much at 39, I couldn't imagine another week or more. Granted when you're there you "just do it" so it's not like if I had gone more it would have been any different than when I had him at 39 weeks lol. Just more miserable

I was one of those women this last time, but I was high risk and had a bunch of complications and the longer I was pregnant, the higher chance of issues I had.

I remember when I hit my due date(at midnight), I was like, "Alright, let's get today over with as FAST as possible!!" Because I figured there was no way in hell I'd actually go into labor ON my due date. (I kinda always figured I'd be the one that went 41weeks + )
So, needless to say four hours later when I started getting contractions I never believed it was the real deal and even once I was at the hospital I kept saying no way she'll come today!

That's different than the chicks who want to induce just because they're uncomfortable.

Pregnancy is tough smurf. Situations like that make it harder. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. How is lo?

I'd be happy as a smurfing clam of I went in labor today. I've been in early labor for over a month now.
